We all value clarity in our lives. When children are faced with something that impacts their health, any clarity can reduce the fear they feel. The CHKD Radiology Department provides this clarity to many children and their families. Many of us, myself included, have lost family to cancer that was found too late to combat. Currently, there are many medical guidelines for cancer screening in adults. However, there are no such guidelines for children. The CHKD Radiology Department is one of the foremost in the nation and its services allow for many early diagnoses and treatments to be made.
