It is hard for us to imagine living in fear everyday in your own home; wondering when the next round of verbal or physical abuse will take place. But, for way too many women (and men) this is their reality. Pat and I have heard the real stories of domestic violence. We've both seen the faces of victims and, sadly, the littlest witnesses of the violence, their children, while helping at LSS CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence. CHOICES is our community's only emergency shelter providing a safe haven for victims fleeing the crime of domestic violence. Our CHOICES shelter is almost always at or above census. But, we cannot turn away victims and their children who are in high danger. For this reason, CHOICES needs our help!

Pat and I decided to join Team CHOICES to support victims of domestic violence—and their children! People in danger need a place to go for safety and healing. The funds we raise as part of Team CHOICES will be used to provide victims with a safe place to go and the care and support they need to create a safer future, free from violence.
