As I begin my 3rd year with the STEPS program, I cannot begin to tell you how much this program, this staff, and most importantly these students mean to me. As both the nurse and a Special Olympics coach, I get to see my students grow independence, learn to advocate for themselves, learn to collaborate, and excel in athletics.
