Dates to Remember:

Tuesday, August 29th:

  • Team IPEF Race Packet Pickup
  • Aspen Lane Wine Company (3682 Prairie Lake Court, Unit 1C Aurora, IL 60504)

Thursday, August 31st:

  • Last day Healthy Driven will allow you to register as a charity runner

Monday, October 2:

  • Minimum fundraising deadline ($204 minimum fundraising commitment; $25 for students) 
  • You must meet your minimum findraising commitment before Healthy Driven will release your race bib.

Monday, October 9th:

  • Final day for Where's Yellow? and Fundraising Prizes contests

Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21: 

  • Healthy Driven race bib pick-up
  • Location TBD by race organizers
  • Details, including what you need to bring with you to pick up your packet, are available at: http://runnaperville.com/packet/ 
  • All in-person participants pick up their race packets from the Naperville Half Marathon, 10K and 5K, including their race bibs. You can not participate on race day without a bib.

Sunday, October 22:

  • Race day!
  • Pre-Race gathering in the Charity Village (Egg Harbor Cafe Parking Lot, Downtown Naperville)

Fundraising Information 

Online, check, or cash donations

  • Donors can contribute online through your page, or via checks or cash that you deliver to the IPEF office at 780 Shoreline Drive.
  • Checks should be made payable to IPEF or Indian Prairie Educational Foundation.
  • Drop off checks or cash in an envelope clearly marked with your name and 'Team IPEF'. We will update your online fundraising page to reflect the donations. 
  • Donors can mail checks directly to: Indian Prairie Educational Foundation, 780 Shoreline Drive, Aurora, IL 60504. Please do not mail cash.

Shre the link of your personal online fundraising page with friends, family, or colleagues to ask for donations to support your participation. Individual doinations can add up quickly to help you reach your fundraising goal!

Fundraising Events

Some creative ideas past runners have done include: 

  • Restaurant Nights
  • Garage sale, bake sale, or craft sale
  • Bubblegum Fridays
  • Penny/change drives
  • Posters in school or office to raise awareness
  • Raffles or silent auctions for "free" items like prime parking or lunch with a teacher
  • Carnival activities at back to school events such as a dunk tank
  • Working as a charity volunteer with BQ.2 or FVM https://www.fv26.com/volunteer-fundraising

Fundraising as a Team with Local Businesses

Some local businesses or restaurants will help support fundraising efforts. You bring in business, and they will donate a portion of the proceeds. Remember, businesses take time to process payments and send them to IPEF. Don't wait until the last minute!

AAA Ackerman Agency - In less than 10 minutes, your friends, family, and you can earn a $20 donation toward your pledge total by simply completing an auto insurance quote with the Ackerman Agency.  No purchase necessary.
