Hi everyone!

This year, I’ll be running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon with Team LiveOnNY to support organ, eye, and tissue donation awareness.

As a CT technologist working in healthcare, I’ve seen firsthand how one decision can completely change — and even save — someone’s life. Behind every transplant is a patient hoping for another chance, a family waiting for good news, and a donor whose generosity creates hope during someone else’s hardest moment.

Organ donation is something many people do not think about until it personally affects someone they love. There are also many misconceptions surrounding donation, when in reality it is one of the most compassionate and lifesaving gifts a person can give.

Being an organ donor myself, this cause is deeply meaningful to me. Running the NYC Marathon is already a huge personal goal, but being able to run for something bigger than myself makes every mile even more important.

Through this fundraiser, I hope not only to raise money for LiveOnNY’s mission, but also to help spread awareness about the importance of organ donation and the lives it impacts every single day.
