New Moms exists to interrupt the cycle of poverty and create strong families, achieving this by surrounding young moms and their children with everything they need to transform their lives. New Moms specifically focuses on housing, jobs, and family services.
PwC and New Moms have a longstanding relationship, and the three PwC members of the New Moms Associate Board are looking for your help to reach our fundraising goal. A $1500 goal allows all team members to receive the maximum donation match from PwC.
Here are some ways your donation can help New Moms:
- $25 can support diapers and formula for 1 family for a week
- $55 can support 1 night of housing for a young mom and her child
- $115 can support 1 month of unlimited transportation for a participant, removing barriers for her to travel to New Moms' Job Training program and access childcare for her family
Nearly half of young moms are homeless when they come to New Moms Chicago. But with their two housing locations, the Bright Endeavors social enterprise company, and robust programming, New Moms is successfully interrupting the cycle of poverty.
