Why I'm Hiking

I'm excited to share that I'm hiking the Grand Canyon this coming weekend on behalf of Opportunity International as part of Team Opportunity!

Having served at Opportunity since 2006, I am extremely passionate about our mission to end extreme poverty by helping families build sustainable livlihoods and be able to send their children to school. This mission, paired with my passion for adventure, made for the perfect match to take on the goal to raise $6,000 to help unlock opportunities for Malawian women living on less than $1 per day. With your support, women will receive resources to meet their immediate needs and empower them to start businesses, generate income, feed their families, and send their children to school.
