Last summer, I joined Opportunity International to lead fundraising events. This April, I’m joining Team Opportunity and a group of generous donors to hike the Grand Canyon while raising funds for women in Malawi who are rising out of poverty.
I’m taking on this challenge to support mothers in Malawi who live on just $1 a day. After two years in our program, these women are running their own businesses and breaking the cycle of poverty for their families. My goal is to raise $2,000—enough to send one woman through the program and, with her family included, impact five lives.
