I'm excited to share that I’ll be hiking the Grand Canyon this spring on behalf of Opportunity International as a founding member of Team Opportunity!
As you might know, I've worked at Opportunity International for two decades and have fallen in love with the people we serve. Our mission paired with my passion for adventure & hiking made for the perfect match to take on a bold goal to raise $6,000 to help unlock opportunities for Malawian women living on less than $1 per day. Through my training this year, I am working to help these women lift their families out of extreme poverty. With your support, women will receive resources to meet their immediate needs and empower them to start businesses, generate income, feed their families, and send their children to school.

Opportunity International is a global non-profit that has been equipping people to build sustainable livelihoods and educate their children for 54 years. Opportunity provides 21 million families with innovative financial resources, training, and support to grow their small businesses and send their children to school. In 2024, Opportunity International and its partners helped fund more than 19,000 schools that reached 3.4 million children.
