Hi Everyone! Please support me as I run this year's United Airlines NYC Half Marathon on March 15th behalf of Read Ahead. The organization that pairs over 1,000 New York City public school children with caring mentors who can help them develop the social-emotional skills essential for academic and life-long success.

Children need positive adult role models to thrive. Young people who are mentored -- especially those challenged by poverty -- are more likely to have better school attendance and participation, to develop the motivation and skills they need for success in school and in life, and to enroll in college.
