When I think of the memories that I have with Katie and her family, they always involved smiles, laughter and either the Forrest Gump soundtrack or the song Angel of the Morning. Katie not only touched the world through her positive attitude, but also in her hard work in the things that were important to her.

Katie was one of the founding members of the Auxiliary Board at Snow City Arts in 2011 and helped to raise over $500,000 during her time there. Snow City Arts is a non-profit that inspires and educates children and youth in hospitals through the arts, like visual arts, music, theater, creative writing, and media arts. "Doctor's find the illnesses, we find the artist."
