I am particpating in the Hot Chocolate run this November to raise money for Snow City.  As you might know our Luca has been admitted to Lurie's a number of times this year and on those days where he showed signs of improvement we would take walks and admire the amazing artwork that the children had created.  Snow City provides arts instruction to approximately 1,200 patients at Rush University Children’s Hospital, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, Children's Hospital University of Illinois, and Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital.  Making art with a Snow City Arts teaching artist is a break from the reality of being ill and in the hospital. Students can choose to paint, draw, make music, a film, write poetry or a play. 

This organization makes a huge impact through the fine arts and is really dear to my heart.  Please help me in supporting them.
