Snow City Arts inspires youth in Chicago area hospitals by helping them create and learn about art. Each year, Snow City Arts provides arts instruction to approximately 1,200 patients at Rush University Children’s Hospital, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, Children's Hospital University of Illinois, and Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital.
Here are a few examples of what different dollar amounts can do for Snow City Arts. As you can see, every dollar can have a great impact!
$25 Can purchase a set of watercolor paints for use in a visual arts workshop
$50 Can purchase a case of Model Magic, a high quality, non-allergenic, sculpting clay that is a staple of Snow City Arts workshops. We cannot keep enough of this stuff in stock!
$100 Can purchase high quality sets of drawing pens and sketchbooks for 5 students
$250 can purchase a copy of Final Cut, a studio-quality music editing software
$500 can purchase an iPad used to bring filmmaking, music editing, and stop-motion animation to a student’s bedside
