This October, I will be running the 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon in support of Special Children’s Charities, an organization dedicated to expanding inclusive opportunities for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Chicago.
Every mile I run will help fund programs that empower individuals with disabilities to learn, grow, participate, and thrive in their communities.
My goal is to raise $2,500 to support this mission.
Running a marathon is a challenge, but it is nothing compared to the challenges faced by individuals with developmental disabilities and their families every day.
Training for this race requires dedication, discipline, and perseverance — values that reflect the spirit of the athletes and individuals supported by Special Children’s Charities.
I’m running 26.2 miles to help ensure these programs continue to grow and reach those who need them most.
Your support will help make inclusive programming possible for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
Any contribution — big or small — will move us closer to the $2,500 goal.
Examples of what donations can support:
- $25 helps provide adaptive sports equipment
- $50 supports inclusive recreational programming
- $100 helps fund community-based activities for athletes
- $250+ helps expand opportunities for Special Olympics participants
Your support means that the miles I run will translate into real opportunities for individuals who deserve the chance to participate, compete, and succeed.
If you’re able, please consider donating and sharing this campaign with others. Together we can help create a more inclusive community and empower individuals with developmental disabilities to thrive.
Thank you for your support.
Please make all checks payable to Special Children's Charities.
Be sure to include my name in the memo section.
