Since 1969, Special Children’s Charities has been the driving force behind inclusion and empowerment for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Chicago. Special Children’s Charities aims to transcend boundaries and redefine possibilities by serving as a symbol of empowerment and inclusivity within both the disability community and the City of Chicago.

Special Children's Charities provides programming ranging from intramural sports, art and music to enrichment activities such as cooking classes. Fundraising via the Chicago Marathon helps these programs remain free of cost.

I will be dedicating all 26.2 miles to the children and adults supported by Special Children's Charities and running for greater inclusivity throughout Chicago.
