Hello everyone!

In October 2026, I will be running the Chicago Marathon in support of Special Children’s Charity, an organization dedicated to expanding access to inclusive opportunities that promote the growth, empowerment, and well-being of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Chicago.

As a social worker and former ABA therapist, this cause is deeply personal to me. I have seen firsthand how meaningful, inclusive programming can create lasting change—building confidence, independence, and community for individuals and families who too often face barriers to access. Advocating for equity and inclusion isn’t just part of my profession; it’s a core value that guides how I show up in the world.

I am proud to represent Special Children’s Charity and am aiming to raise $2,500 to help support their mission and expand these vital opportunities throughout the city. Any contribution, big or small, directly supports programs that make a tangible difference in the lives of so many. Thank you for helping me turn each mile into meaningful impact and for supporting a cause that truly changes lives.

The spirit of accomplishment, inclusion, and joy that are part of the marathon experience are what we strive to provide for thousands of our participants in all 77 Chicago neighborhoods. With your help, we are creating a more inclusive Chicago–one mile at a time.
