This October, I’m taking on the Chicago Marathon 2026 — and I’m running with purpose. I’m honored to be part of Team Special Children’s Charities (SCC) to support children and young adults with disabilities and their families across Chicago and beyond.
Why I’m Running
Every step I take on October race day will be for kids who face challenges most of us never have to imagine — children who show us every day what resilience truly means. Special Children’s Charities has a remarkable mission: to empower individuals with special needs through critical programs, supportive services, inclusive experiences, and community partnerships that help them thrive.
SCC does transformative work, including:
- Therapeutic and recreational programs
- Educational support and adaptive learning tools
- Inclusive social events that build confidence and community
- Resources for families navigating complex care needs
These opportunities don’t just make life more joyful — they build confidence, independence, and a genuine sense of belonging. That’s why I’m running with all my heart and inviting you to join me in making an impact.
My Fundraising Goal: USD 2,500
I’m aiming to raise USD 2,500 to support SCC’s year-round programs. Every dollar counts — and every donation helps unlock opportunities for children and families who need it most.
