I’m running the Chicago Marathon this year to raise money for Special Children’s Charities. I've been fortunate enough to spend time with Georgia's own Happy Feat and Night to Shine organizations and those experiences make the value of inclusion and support impossible to ignore. This will be my first full marathon and I’m proud to turn this goal into something that matters beyond the finish line. Every mile is a chance to show up for a cause I truly believe in and to help create more joy and opportunity for all.

Since 1969, Special Children’s Charities has been the driving force behind inclusion and empowerment for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Chicago. Special Children’s Charities aims to transcend boundaries and redefine possibilities by serving as a symbol of empowerment and inclusivity within both the disability community and the City of Chicago.
