When I was younger, the thought of running paralyzed me. I created a mental block that prevented me from fully appreciating the sport. It was not until my high school soccer coach shared her 'Mind over Matter' mantra that I began to run and enjoy it. A couple years later I found myself as a sailing instructor coaching an individual who was deathly afraid of being on a sailboat. It took some time, and a lot of trust, but together we were able to push through their fear. By the end of the week the student began looking forward to our daily lesson and truly started to love sailing. All of that to say, we can never truly transcend beyond expected limits without support. I am motivated to help others around feel liberated, just how my soccer coach did for me, and how I did for my sailing student. Special Children's Charity positively impacts the community in very inspiring ways. Thus, any help at all is great help!
