Running for Special Children’s Charities – Chicago Marathon Fundraiser
I am honored to be running in support of Special Children’s Charities, an organization that has been changing lives in Chicago since 1969. Special Children’s Charities has been the driving force behind inclusion and empowerment for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout all 77 Chicago neighborhoods.
Their mission is simple but powerful — to transcend boundaries and redefine possibilities by serving as a symbol of empowerment and inclusivity within both the disability community and the City of Chicago. The spirit of accomplishment, inclusion, and joy that are part of the marathon experience are the same opportunities Special Children’s Charities works every day to provide for thousands of participants across Chicago.
I am running not just for the finish line, but for a more inclusive Chicago — one mile at a time. Your support will help fund programs, opportunities, and resources that empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live fuller, more inclusive lives.
Any donation, big or small, truly makes a difference and means so much to me and to the thousands of participants supported by Special Children’s Charities.
If you wish to make a donation via check, please send it to the address below and they will credit the donation to my fundraising page. Please make sure to include my name (or the person you would like to support) in the memo section.
Please make all checks payable to Special Children’s Charities.
