Running has become a meaningful part of my life, and this year I’m taking on an especially exciting challenge: the Chicago Marathon. This will be my third marathon, and I’m incredibly excited to take everything I’ve gained from my previous races and bring it to this experience.
What makes this marathon even more meaningful is the opportunity to run with Team Special Children’s Charities. This organization is dedicated to empowering children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing access to life-changing programs, resources, and support that help them reach their full potential and live more independent, fulfilling lives.
Every mile I train and every step I take on race day is about more than just crossing the finish line—it’s about making a positive impact and supporting a mission that truly matters.
Training for a marathon takes time, energy, and commitment, but knowing that it can also help make a difference makes every early morning and long run worth it. Your support means so much, not only in helping me reach my fundraising goal but also in contributing to something bigger than the race itself.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
