As a mom, I understand our happiness is dictated by however our least happy child is feeling. I've shared heartaches with friends and colleagues whose kids have struggled with health issues, and as much as I've wanted to help, most often I've felt at a loss.
As a runner, I have personal goals I can set for myself, but on a grand scale, what does it matter? When I discovered I could run for a purpose, actually make a difference in childrens' lives, I KNEW this was it. For my 8th and final marathon in this lifetime of mine, I want to do something that is much, much bigger than me.
Please help me in my quest to raising funds towards helping kids get better. Even if you don't live in the state of Minnesota, your contribution and your support means the world to me, and will truly impact kids who come here for medical attention from all over the nation and the world.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
