I’ve had “completing a marathon” on my bucket list for a while now. About 5 years exactly. I completed my first 5K in the spring of 2010 and knew that I’d like to run a marathon at some point in the future.
When one of my friends asked me if I’d consider running the Twin Cities Marathon on behalf of Children’s Hospital, I was skeptical at first due to thinking that I couldn’t run that long of a race. After a bit of hesitation about whether or not I could in fact run that distance, I decided to commit. I am going to run the TC Marathon on behalf of Children’s Hospital of MN!
I am so excited to be part of a team that gives so much back. The months and weeks leading up to the marathon are going to be challenging. I’ve got a lot of running to do, but I know that every step I take in my training brings us one step closer to providing more hope to kids at Children’s.
Please consider supporting me in my goal to raise $750 for Children’s Hospital. Each and every dollar that I raise will improve pediatric health and continue to enhance the patient care experience.
