Hi, I'm Allison. I've never broken a bone, had surgery, or been put under general anesthesia. To be honest, basic lab draws make me light headed. But despite having a small fear of all things medical, I ended up working in pediatric healthcare. For the past six years I've been scheduling surgeries for kids who are so much braver than I will ever be. I'm choosing to run this 10k to show my support  for the children and families that face scary diagnoses, multiple surgeries, and lengthy recoveries. They are the real superstars.
