The Tisch MS Research Center of New York is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to finding the cause of, and a cure for, multiple sclerosis. At present, there is no full understanding of the cause and mechanism of multiple sclerosis. While a variety of effective treatments have been shown to reduce some symptoms and, in some cases, slow the progress of the disease, there is no cure for MS.
Tisch MSRCNY has a holistic research approach that includes all aspects of the disease, including progression mechanisms, translational programs that will lead to new therapies, and the regeneration and repair process.
