Team Zimbabwe is mobilizing once again to bring hope to over 600 orphans and vulnerable children at Heather Chimhoga Orphan Care in rural Zimbabwe. You can walk, run, ride,or even skip as you raise donations to feed, clothe, provide medical care, school fees and many other necessities to so many children in need!
There are several ways you can join Team Zimbabwe as we MOVE to bring HOPE TO THE ORPHANS in Zimbabwe:
On Saturday, June 6, 2026, we will be gathering at Riverdale Regional Park in Adams County to ride, walk, run or skip as we travel “a mile” (or more) in the shoes of an orphan in Zimbabwe. We will be providing a boxed lunch to pre-registered fundraisers. Join us for a day of fun and fellowship as we "Move" for the orphans and learn about the ways we are providing hope to these vulnerable children! All participants who raise at least $100 will also receive a custom 2025 Team Zimbabwe T-shirt!
And....new this year is our inaugural 12 Mile Ice Cream Ride! Join us for a 12 mile round trip bike ride with a sweet treat at the halfway point. You won't want to miss it! Maps and more information coming soon.
You can also join Team Zimbabwe as a Virtual participant, raising donations for the orphans in Zimbabwe in any way that works for you. You might decide to participate in another organized ride/run/walk or simply complete a certain number of miles on your own time in honor of the orphans.
