In my work at PAB'S PACKS over the last two years, I have personally witnessed the amazing work of Children’s to provide the very best compassionate care to pediatric patients and their families. I am running for Team Superstars in order to raise funds to support the hospital’s Child Life program. Child Life Specialists work closely with children and families in medical settings, serving as emotional support and helping develop family coping strategies. They are the life blood of cheer, comfort and care at pediatric hospitals and often do not have access to the funds or resources that would allow them to excel in their work.
My goal is to raise $800 in order to support this department with over 40 music and/or art therapy sessions.
A gift of $20 provides one session.
