Inspired by William

Cancer is never an easy topic to discuss, especially when it happens to kids. In February my nephew was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, which was a major shock and heartbreak to all of our family members. He was brought to Children's Minneapolis for a few days of testing and then began receiving chemo on his 4th birthday (his treatment will go until he is 7). Since then I've been trying to figure out how to help until I discovered Team Superstars. I've run a few marathons in the past so it just made sense to do another while helping out an organization that's helped me. All of the funds raised will go towards covering hotel costs for families that have to come from out of town, just like my family does.

The team at Children's has done a great job educating and supporting our family throughout William's journey and I am hoping to do an even better job with this endeavor in return. Thank you in advance for helping me out
