I am running for the most amazing people on Earth - KIDS! I am inspired, everyday, by the work being done by Children's Minnesota.
When I saw that there was an opportunity to join the Children's MN Team Superstars, I knew it was the push I needed to do to return to "being a runner".
About 3 years ago, my health began to deteriorate. I went to countless appointments and met with many specialists. They had no solid idea of what was causing my issues. They did recommend that I stop running as it could have been adding to the pain and fatigue I was experiencing. In doing so, I gained a fair amount of weight and lost all of my athletic base. However, I now am on the path to healing and have been cleared to run!!
So, here I go, getting back to what I love, while supporting such an amazing organization!
