Children are better than you. 
It's true. 

They may be full of boogers and terrible at opening pickle jars. 
Sticky for no discernable reason. 
They may scream and screetch and bark and bite and their limbs may turn into jell-o the instant you are late and need to hurry. 

But, they also have a world's worth of potential and possibility jammed into their tiny little heads and hearts and when we invest in them we invest in the best of what can be. And, hopefully, they'll pay that investment back by taking care of us in our old age.
