Another year in which I am inspired by the infants and their families whom I care for at Children's Hospital to run the Twin Cities 10 mile. Being a part of Team Superstars as a charity athlete last year I was overwhelmed with emotion and realized I wasn't running with my legs but with my heart!
The 10 miles I will be running this year will go to support the neonatal units where we care for chronically ill and premature infants and their families. The families are so grateful for all the extra things that Children's offers them because of your kind donations at such a difficult financial and emotional time. I would be greatly appreciative of your donation and will do all the training and running with great pride!
Gratitude brings warmth to the giver and the receiver alike!!
