Cancer does not care if it is your grandma and grandpa, cancer does not care if it is your dance
instructor, cancer does not care if it is your eighth-grade Algebra teacher, cancer does not care if
it is your friend’s mom. Cancer does not care, but I care. Texas 4000 for Cancer cultivates
student leaders while engaging communities in the fight against cancer, giving me the perfect
avenue to grow as an individual and make an impact on my community. Your contributions and
support will fund cancer research and help me spread hope and knowledge in the fight against
cancer as I bike 4,000 miles to Anchorage, Alaska. With your generosity, we are one step closer
to spreading hope, knowledge, and charity, ultimately giving a voice to those who have been
