I'm excited to be participating in The Big Chill, The Shalom Project's biggest fundraiser of the year!
The third Saturday of July our community experiences the JOY of homemade ice cream, live music, family fun, and friendly competition. Individuals and community groups raise money by competitively making homemade ice cream, while some of us serve as "Cold Callers," sitting on blocks of ice while reaching out to friends and family for financial program support.
Together, we're raising funds to sustain The Shalom Project's food program, medical and pharmacy services, as well as group/individual mentoring for improving financial wellness.
