The Big Diaper Drive is a community-powered event where businesses, families, groups, churches, and schools come together to collect over 200,000 diapers for families in Central Virginia.

Access to diapers can prevent health issues and abuse for babies while reducing stress for parents. With 1 in 2 families in our community experiencing diaper need, every diaper helps to make a difference!

Together, we can solve a basic human need.

  • Diapers can cost up to $100 a month, placing a significant burden on low-income families.
  • Babies need 10-15 diapers a day, and government assistance doesn’t cover them. This forces families to choose between buying food or diapers, impacting their well-being and adding unnecessary strain to their daily lives.
  • Access to diapers changes everything. It means better health, income, and education outcomes—especially for women and children.

Watch our “Not So Little Anymore” video — it’s a testament to the impact you’re making and a reminder that there’s more we can achieve together through The Big Diaper Drive
