Hello friends and family!  On July 18th I will paddle in my 12th Friendship Paddle.  Team T&A cannot wait to head out to the Channel Islands once again to honor Tara and April and throw our arms around this year's honoree, Scott Miners.

Scott is a husband, father, surfer, volunteer, and longtime Santa Barbara community member. In 2021, he was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. After years of treatment, his cancer has progressed to Stage 4.

Even while facing his own diagnosis, Scott has continued to show up for others. He has volunteered with Meals on Wheels, built friendships through the Cancer Center community, and supported the Friendship Paddle family itself. Last year, while quietly fighting his own battle, Scott paddled, encouraged, and supported another honoree.

Now it is our turn to show up for Scott.

Every donation helps surround Scott, Jenn, Kira, and Caleb with financial and emotional support during an incredibly difficult chapter. Your gift helps ease the burden of treatment, lost work, and the day-to-day weight that cancer places on a family.
