Please join us in supporting The Friendship Paddle 2026 to support Scott Miners and his family.
Scott is a husband, father, surfer, volunteer, and longtime Santa Barbara community member. In 2021, he was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. After years of treatment, his cancer has progressed to Stage 4.
Even while facing his own diagnosis, Scott has continued to show up for others. He has volunteered with Meals on Wheels, built friendships through the Cancer Center community, and supported the Friendship Paddle family itself. Last year, while quietly fighting his own battle, Scott paddled, encouraged, and supported another honoree.
As most of you know, The Friendship Paddle community came together on behalf our family in 2018, and we know how profoundly important this help has been, and continues to be, for us.
Now it is our turn to show up for Scott.
Every donation helps surround Scott, Jenn, Kira, and Caleb with financial and emotional support during an incredibly difficult chapter. Your gift helps ease the burden of treatment, lost work, and the day-to-day weight that cancer places on a family.
Please donate what you can and share this page with friends, family, and anyone who may want to support Scott.
Thank you so much for helping us support Scott and his family.
Keep Paddling!
