Inspire and Prepare Young People for their Future!

The past few years I've been able to volunteer with the Junior Achievement program, Career Inspirations, specifically designed for young girls in high school. Through this program, we have helped young high school girls learn the importance of soft skills, personal branding, job-hunting tools (ie - resumes, interviewing) and have provided a panel of women speakers from The Hartford that have shared their own work experiences and discussed the importance of critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity in the work force.

Programs like this are critical to help support young people to before entering the work force and succeed in a global economy or even those preparing for college. I've seen first-hand the impact it makes in the confidence level of these students and their goals for their futures.

Junior Achievement Programs are volunteer-delivered, experiential learning curriculum. JA program activities help K-12 students learn financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship, and provide all the training, materials and support volunteers need for student success.

By donating you are directly supporting Junior Achievement and their purpose to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
