Round 2: The Return ⛳️
I’m back. Last year, I told you I was a "certified golf sicko," and apparently, I haven’t found a cure. This March, I am officially returning for my second consecutive year to take on the Little Lights 100 Hole Classic. For those who missed the madness last year: that’s 100 holes of golf in a single day. No carts. No shortcuts. Just me, a thinning sleeve of balls, and a level of physical exertion that my physio would certainly advise against.
Why am I doing this (again)?
I’m lacing up the spikes once more for Little Lights Urban Ministries. They are doing the heavy lifting in Southeast DC, providing essential tutoring, mentoring, and college prep for students and families facing systemic barriers.
How you can you support my goal?
• The "Endurance" Pledge: Pledge $1, $2, or $5 per hole. If I finish all 100 (I will), your impact is huge.
• The "Birdie Hunter" Bonus: Want to make me actually try? Throw $5 or $10 down for every birdie I card. I’ll be hunting flags like my life depends on it.
• The "Keep It Simple" Donation: One-time flat donations are always deeply appreciated. Every dollar goes directly toward empowering kids in DC.
The Reality Check: I’m still not a pro. I’ll still miss a TON of putts. I’ll definitely be sore by hole 72. But I’m ready to grind because this organization deserves every ounce of effort we can give them.
Let’s beat last year’s total and show these kids that we’ve got their backs.
