I’m taking on The Hundred—a pretty wild challenge where I’ll be playing 100 holes of golf in a single day—to support the work of Little Lights.
While I’m not directly involved with the organization, I wanted to step up because I really believe in what they do. My friend David works there and is deeply committed to helping change the lives of young people in Washington, DC. Through him, I’ve gotten a glimpse of the kind of long-term support and care Little Lights provides to students facing real challenges.
Little Lights serves students and families in poverty, providing long-term, holistic support that goes far beyond just academics. From tutoring and mentoring to college and career guidance, they walk with students over many years—helping them navigate school, overcome obstacles, and build a path toward a more stable future. It’s not just about programs, but about consistent relationships and showing up for students in meaningful ways.
That kind of long-term, relational support is what makes Little Lights so impactful.
If you’d like to support, you can make a flat donation or have a little fun with it and pledge per birdie—$2, $5, or $10 for every birdie I make throughout the day. (No promises on how many that’ll be, but I’ll do my best.
If you’re able to give, I’d really appreciate your support—every bit makes a difference.
