The Latinx Comic Arts Festival (LCAF) is the California Central Valley’s ONLY celebration of Latino comic arts creators and friends. LCAF highlights Latino cartoonists, writers, animators, artists, and comics educators. The Festival is a unique cultural enrichment event that brings 50+ incredibly talented creators to the MJC campus for two full days of interactive tabling, panels, and workshops. On Saturday, we feature a huge lowrider exhibit with local car clubs and almost 100 cars!
Founded by Dr. Theresa Rojas, MJC Professor of English and our first Professor of Ethnic Studies, LCAF offers students, families, and the community a unique opportunity to spend time with gifted creators who bring stories and art to life.
This is a FREE, family - friendly, all ages community event.
