After losing his vision in a car accident in his twenties, my father spent decades navigating a world not designed for him. Everything changed when he was paired with his guide dog, Lucas. More than a companion, Lucas gave my father freedom, confidence, and independence, creating a bond that forever changed our family’s lives.
On July 19, we invite you to join us in raising $15,000 toward the training of a future guide dog. Each dog costs $104,300 to train, and every contribution helps give someone the same independence my father cherished—the simple freedom to move confidently through the world.
