Team Grateful Edna – Walking in Honor of My Cancer Journey

Welcome to Team Grateful Edna!

For several years, I’ve led my own walk as part of the Sky Movement to advocate for pancreatic cancer awareness. I was a fierce advocate for my own health during my diagnosis, and I truly believe that mindset is a big part of why I am still here today.

We walk to honor my journey, celebrate survivorship, and support others who continue to advocate for their health—while helping fund pancreatic cancer research through Sky Foundation.

Join Us at the Kickoff Event

We would love for you to join Team Grateful Edna at the Sky Movement Kickoff Event:

Date:  Sunday, May 17th

Time:  9:00AM - 11:00AM

Location:  LegaSea Aquarium & Grant Park, Utica, MI 

What to Expect:

• Games and light refreshments in front of LegaSea Aquarium
• Group walk to Grant Park
• Community gathering
• Inspiring speakers, including researchers from Henry Ford Health, Sky Foundation, and LegaSea Aquarium
• Open activity areas (pickleball, basketball, volleyball, playground, pavilion)

After the kickoff, LegaSea Aquarium will offer discounted admission ($20 per person) for attendees who would like to explore the space.

LegaSea’s founder, Brian Barczyk, bravely battled pancreatic cancer and passed away in 2023. His wife, Lori, continues his legacy by carrying forward his vision and passion through LegaSea Aquarium.

Everyone who registers by May 6th will receive a FREE official Sky Movement t-shirt.
