Welcome to Team Barbour.

We are participating in Sky Movmement in loving memory of John S. Barbour, whose life and legacy continue to inspire those who knew him. Our Team Leader, Monica Barbour has been part of Sky Foundation's Board of Directors for many years, bringing together family, friends, and John’s community to honor his memory and support a cause that is deeply meaningful to her.

This Movement is a way to remember John, support others impacted by pancreatic cancer, and help fund critical research through Sky Foundation.

Join Us at the Kickoff Event

We would love for you to join Team Barbour at the Sky Movement Kickoff Event:

Sunday, May 17th
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
LegaSea Aquarium & Grant Park, Utica

What to Expect:

• Games and light refreshments in front of LegaSea Aquarium
• Group walk to Grant Park
• Community gathering
• Inspiring speakers, including researchers from Henry Ford Health, Sky Foundation, and LegaSea Aquarium
• Open activity areas (pickleball, basketball, volleyball, playground, pavilion)

Following the kickoff, LegaSea Aquarium will offer discounted admission ($20 per person) for attendees who would like to explore the space.

LegaSea’s founder, Brian Barczyk, bravely battled pancreatic cancer and passed away in 2023. His wife, Lori, continues his legacy by carrying forward his vision through LegaSea Aquarium.

Everyone who registers by May 6th will receive a free official Sky Movement t-shirt.
