Meet Sofia!
Sofia Isabella Anderson was diagnosed on January 2015 with stage 4 Neuroblastoma. She had a small bruise around her right eye that quickly turned into a droopy eye.We took her immediately to the doctor and they suggested an MRI so we took her to John Hopkins All Childrens hospital. She began treatment right away. 12 rounds of chemo, 6 rounds of radiation, 6 rounds of antibody and 2 years of DFMO an anti-relapse drug. Sofia was such a little warrior throughout all of this. She loved to sing, dance, color, swim, just about anything that kept her moving.
Today she is 11 years old and 8 years cancer free. She loves playing soccer, basketball, volleyball, swimming with friends, dancing to TikTok songs and spending special time with family and friends. We are so blessed to have her healthy and thriving. She makes our family whole.
