Gulshan Literacy Project (GLP) Badda serves children growing up in the densely populated Badda slum area of Dhaka, where families often have limited living space and access to basic facilities. Many students come from low‑income households and face financial, nutritional, educational, and environmental challenges. Parents commonly depend on informal or low‑wage occupations such as day labor, domestic work, rickshaw or van driving, small‑scale trading, garment work, construction, or other service‑based jobs.

With Thrive’s support, GLP Badda provides students with quality education, life skills, and a daily nutritious meal. This ensures they have the energy and well‑being to focus in class, build confidence, and pursue opportunities for a brighter future.
