I am joining the Timmerman Traverse to raise money for the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation. In February of 2026 we are hiking the highest mountain in Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, to raise funding for research on life-saving cancer therapies.

I am a Damon-Runyon postdoctoral fellow working on the development of new chemistry for preparation of anti-cancer compounds. I am extremely grateful for the Damon-Runyon fellowship that supports my research and has broadly enabled my scientific career. Funding from Damon-Runyon is a game changer for young scientists, providing several years of dependable support and access to a community of top minds in cancer research.
