On March 8th, 2020, (how is it going to be 2020?!) I will be joining an amazing team of animal lovers to run The Skechers Performance Marathon & Charity Challenge, to raise money for Kitten Rescue to save homeless animals. Those of you who know me, know how much my life has changed since joining Kitten Rescue 6 years ago. If it weren’t for Lynx & Bear (the OG’s) and Kitten Rescue, I wouldn’t be the Certified Cat Lady that I am today! Becoming part of this circle of special people has truly altered my path in life and allowed me to play a small, positive part in hundreds of cats’ lives. Even though they make me do crazy things, like run a half marathon and have 6 cats & 3 fosters, I’m absolutely honored to volunteer and foster for this group. I'm aiming to raise $2000 this year - that's FOUR cat families. While that's a big goal, sadly, 4 families isn't even the tiniest drop in the bucket in LA. There are THOUSANDS of cats on the streets and in danger of euthanasia. Please help me save a few more lives!

Kitten Rescue provides cradle to grave support for vulnerable cats and other companion animals in need. We believe that saving kittens and cats from unnecessary euthanasia and other high-risk, loss-of-life or loss-of-home situations represents our greatest opportunity to advocate for kindness for all animals and to promote compassion between humans and animals for the benefit of both.
The Kitten Rescue Sanctuary in Atwater Village is home to up to 150 special needs cats and at our lifesaving Kitten Nursery where we bottle feed up to 50 orphaned, un-weaned kittens around the clock, year-round. We have an extensive volunteer network of foster parents throughout Los Angeles who provide temporary homes to kittens in need while we do the work of finding them homes.
