On March 8, I am participating in the Charity Challenge (half marathon) as part of Team Kitten Rescue in The Los Angeles Marathon. I have a fundraising goal of $650.00! As many of you know, I am an avid lover of cats and I strive to do what I can to help my feline friends in need. I chose to help Kitten Rescue because they exist to save the most vulnerable victims of the homeless cat crisis - kittens. Kitten Rescue’s Hope Fund provides medical care for these kittens as well as sick and injured cats, rehabilitates them, and finds them homes, once they are well. Kitten Rescue receives no government assistance, even though they take in the severely injured and sick cats from the city shelters and pay for the veterinary care for them.
