Chef Brandon Bailey, The Back Nine

From a young age, Brandon knew that culinary arts was his calling. From competing in high school at the state and national level, to graduating from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary College, one of the most prestigious culinary institutes in America. His competitive nature has landed him with the title of Top Chef Of Polk County for 2020, while raising funds for the kids at the Achievement Academy. His wide range of cooking styles, from traditional French cuisine to backyard BBQ leaves only one question. Is there anything he can’t cook? As a rising star in the culinary community in the Polk County area, his newest venture is the Grand Opening of The Back Nine as the Executive Chef. He is designing and executing a new menu for a new concept that is sure to bring families together. Being a father, he values family time together above all else. Chef Brandon Bailey, continues to add to the growth and development of the culinary scene here in Polk by studying his practices from experienced chefs and teaching and grooming the next generation of chefs. Having a positive impact on his community through his food, is at the top of his list each and every day.

Community Leader Crystal Goffe, Swan City Title

Crystal has lived in Lakeland since 1988, and loves this little city so much. She was in the first graduating class at McKeel Academy of Technology in 1999 and then attended Florida Southern College, USF, and eventually earned a Professional Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University. She practiced as a therapist both in private practice and for a non-profit agency for a couple of years before deciding to enter the real estate world. She is now the Licensed Agent and Owner of Swan City Title Company in downtown Lakeland. Supporting their community is the most important thing to them as a company and to her as an individual. She was the Secretary of the Lakeland TigerTown Rotary Club in 2020 and continues to serve as a member. She also enjoys opportunities to serve the community outside of the Rotary Club, such as this opportunity to support Achievement Academy. This cause is near and dear to her heart and she is honored to be involved.
