The torch procession is part of the Illuminations of Life Ceremony, at Flames of Hope: A Celebration of Life™. This ceremony is a poignant experience for torchbearers and spectators and promotes awareness, encourages support for people affected by breast cancer, and fosters a sense of giving—a paying-it-forward.
Torch bearers are asked to raise a minimum of $500 to carry a torch. The proceeds from this fundraiser are used to help with the operating costs of the Hope Bus—our 38 foot long RV that provides education and support to greater Rhode Island. There are a limited number of torches, and are dispensed on a first come-first serve basis. There is a $25 registration fee which will be applied towards your goal.
